The supernatural power of the Heathen Seeress is well recorded, but evidence for the techniques of her sorcery is scarce. This workshop will examine scattered hints of magical techniques in surviving written sources, archaeological evidence, and etymology, while comparing the work of the seeress with that of other Heathen magical workers such as shapeshifters and rune masters. We’ll also take a look at some of the ways modern practitioners have sought to revive the work of the Seeress today.
