The Wyrdlock Way
a 6 month Heathen spirituality intensive
Heathens believe in a world filled with powerful spirit beings, good and ill luck, prophecy, and charms – and interaction with the unseen was never exclusive to seeresses, rune masters, or priests. Anyone might receive messages through dreams, swear a supernaturally binding oath, or create their own luck through worthy deeds. It is time to remind ourselves that we, too, have access to these powers.
Wyrdlock is a training rooted in skills once practiced by wise Heathen matrons, offering a journey of personal transformation, exploring foundational patterns for Heathen magical practice, and engaging in community to support your spiritual work. This training follows the arc of the light half of the year through seven months of work.
A combination of online sessions and self-study materials help challenge preconceptions, grow your spiritual relationships, and access sources of wisdom. Twice a month online sessions include both ritual and discussion, followed by new materials for self-guided work in-between sessions and a group forum for continued discussion.
This training has three concurrent cycles of training, each taking a full season to complete. New themes and materials build upon the consistent pattern of rituals as the practitioner learns and deepens into their work. Applications for entry into later cycles are approved based on engagement with and completion of the previous cycle’s work.

Heron (third cycle)
Themes: Vision, Power, and Community
The Snake Cycle of training explores each part of the Heathen soul-complex, opening to the connections we have with land and community, exploring the Hidden Realm, the Wilderness Realm, and the Heavenly Realm and how they manifest in our lives. It includes work with altars, symbolic objects, breathwork, awareness, accessing visions, the unseen, and the connection between inner and outer nature.
Requirements
This is an intermediate Heathen training, intended for practitioners already familiar with the Heathen tradition. Participants should have:

an existing Heathen practice – whether solitary or in community

basic familiarity with Heathenry, including blot, symbel, Heathen deities, and wyrd
This training is partly self-guided, and supported by zoom sessions and group conversation. Participants will need:

reliable internet connection, access to email, Zoom, and Discord

ability to engage in self study with written material packets sent out twice a month, including short journal and practical exercises

ability to undertake 5-10 minute regular practice at least 2-3 times each week

engaging in regular discussion on the shared Discord server
